PUNCHY HEARTS

Start with a 4"x 5 1/2" pink card. Cut a 2"x 5 1/2" rectangle from Valentine-print paper. Mount the pink-print rectangle to the upper portion of the card front with a glue stick. Use pink embroidery floss to make a small knot at each end, leaving 1/2"-long tails on the right side. Punch three hearts across the card front lower edge; save the hearts.

Choose three buttons to complement the pink-print paper. Stitch one to the center of each punched heart, using pink embroidery floss and leaving 3/4"-long tails on the right side. Secure the button hearts to the card interior with foam mounting tape, lining them up to match the punched cut-outs, so they'll show when the card is closed.
