HEART ON A STRING
Start with a white 4" X 5 1/2" card. Cut a 3 1/2" X 4 1/2" rectangle of pink-plaid paper and mount it centered on the card front.
Cut a 3/4"X 2 3/4" rectangle of white cardstock and a slightly smaller rectangle of lime-print paper, trimming the edges of each with decorative scissors. Center and mount the lime rectangle to the white rectangle.
Freehand-cut a 2 1/8"X 2 3/4" heart from lime print paper and a 1 3/4"X2 1/4" heart from pink-print paper.
Thread a few seed beads onto 6" of 26-gauge gold wire. Wrap the wire around the pink heart as desired, securing the ends with tape on the heart underside. Mount the pink heart on the lime heart, then punch a small hole in the upper edge.
Fold 12" of 1/2"-wide yellow organza ribbon in half and thread the folded end through the punched hole. Pull the ribbon ends through the loop, and gently snug the knot against the hole.
Punch a small hole in the center of the lime/white rectangle. Thread the ribbon ends through the hole from the back and tie the ribbon ends into a bow on the right side.
Mount the rectangle to the plaid card front using foam mounting tape, allowing the heart to hang freely.
