Proud Peacock Entry by James Beach

Two year old Victoria is "Proud as a Peacock" in the costume her mother (Kimberly) made for her.
The black velvet bodice has almost 1,000 beaded sequins hand sewn on to the breast area. Black & Purple feathers were glued to the tummy and bottom.
The back of the body suit was cut open and velcro fasteners were sewn in to keep closed when she is not wearing the "plume"
The "Plume" is made from 65 real Peacock feathers hot glued and then sewn between two heavy pieces of black felt. It is held in place by opening the "rear hatch" on the body suit and then securing two elastic belts around the abdomen. The Velcroed hatch is then placed back into position over the felt that holds the feather plume.
The head piece is a hair comb with feathers hot glued onto it in various lengths.
