Cinderella Costume Entry by Christine Tellier

I made this Cinderella costume for my 4 1/2 yo daughter, Erin. This was a Simplicity Pattern #9383. I used a Sky Blue Bridal Satin for the main dress and White Bridal Satin with White Organza overlays as the skirt puffs and sleeves. This dress is fully lined and also has a complete petticoat underneath with boning for structure with lace trimming along the hemline.
Having a bit of leftover fabric, I decided to make a matching bag for Cinderella to collect her candy in as I just didn't see it right to have 'Cinderella' carry a pumpkin! :-) I added a white macrame daisy trim along the bag for interest.
Erin decided she wanted to be Cinderella back in January...I was certain she would change her mind , however, she was set, so come Halloween...Cinderella it is! She felt like a true princess in this costume!
