Genie Costume Entry by Michelle Thetford

The genie costume was created from purple Panne fabric using Simplicity Costume Pattern #8303. It is a size Medium. The drape on the hat is a purple lame fabric and is tacked on either side of the hat. The hip drape is made of the same panne fabric with a velcro closure in the back. The pants have a simple elastic waist and the shirt is closed in the back with a hook and eye closure. The fabric is soft and warm enough that after Halloween the costume can be used as pajamas.
