Pink Princess Entry by Michelle Thetford

The pink princess costume was created using Simplicity Costumes Pattern #5930, size Small. I used pink Quilters cotton fabric for the dress, and a sheer metallic fabric for the overlay and the hat veil. The hat was interfaced and starched for stiffness.The neckline is elastic, as well as the waist line. The waist line elastic is encased on the inside with single fold bias tape. The overlay is outlined with a heart and flower patterned ribbon.
