Statue of Liberty & Mystic Maiden Costumes Entry by Judy Troyer

This costume of the Statue of Liberty was created from Simplicity Pattern Number 5987. The fabric is twill and felt. Head piece has felt between 2 layers of twill in which the top layer was cut out to reveal the felt. The torch is made from the same fabric and stuffed with fiber fill.
The Mystic Maiden was created from Simplicity Number 9891 is made of Chiffon and Satin fabric. Both costumes were created in Colorado and Mailed to Kansas to two sweet Grand daughters. This has been a tradition for the past 9 years from their Grammie.
