Where I can buy GRASSHOPPER SNIPS?
Jane T.

Grasshopper scissors, also called Crane snips, are available from The Needlepointer. These lightweight, stainless-steel snips (2 1/2" overall length; 3/8" long blade) are used for cutting one or two strands of thread or floss. The angled blade design allows you to get close to your work without cutting the fabric. To use, hold the snips vertical with the blades parallel to the fabric; squeeze the oval rings to cut the thread. To order, visit theneedlepointer.com, or call (425) 252-2277.

From the February 2007 issue of Sew News magazine.
