I have the feb/march magazine. where do I get the instructions for the ham pattern?
I have the Feb/March magazine and ham pattern. Where do I get the instructions. When I click on link it goes to a quilt website.
I find it very helpful when instructions are posted to make my own tools because I can't afford to purchase. Now it would be grand if someone would also post instructions for the holder!

Hi Pam, Thank you for sharing how you put yours together. I do have a question though, you mention that you stuffed yours in layers, how did you do that?
Pressing Ham
I made a pressing ham over 30 years ago and I'm still using it today. I stuffed it with a mixture of wool scraps and fine saw dust. When making it I stuffed and steamed each layer on a rack in the shower (don't get it WET) Pack wool and saw dust between layers and stuff it as tight as possible. Mine was the traditional Ham shape with a small end and larger rounded end. It's one of the most used 'tools' in my ironing/pressing section of the sewing room. Pam Meador, Hardy VA

What did you use to stuff it with? I am assuming it should be something solid. Thanks, joann_r
