Bernina to host Make & Take Sewing Lab at SXSW Music Festival

The South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival takes place in Austin, TX, and is one of the most highly anticipated music events of the year. At this year’s festival, Bernina will be hosting the first-ever Make and Take Sewing Lab during Style X, the official fashion discovery showcase. The Bernina Make and Take Sewing Lab will be open Friday and Saturday, March 16–17, 2012 from noon to 8 p.m, and participants will have the chance to use Bernina 380 machines to create an iPad or tablet case, smart phone case or eReader case and a fun wearable wool felt project. Bernina is also sponsoring the BurdaStyle and Style X Design Challenge, in which three lucky winning designers will show off their rock star fashions on the runway.
