Sew It All TV 13 Days of Giveaways – Day 7

Hello everyone! Thank you all for participating in yesterday’s giveaway. Many of you use your sewing time to sew for others, don’t forget to make time to sew for yourself!

The pants from Pattie Wilkinson’s are so easy and fun to make. Wouldn’t it be nice if all pant sewing was so easy! There weren’t a lot of comments from readers that they love to sew pants, but we hope you watch Patti and Ellen and give these a try.

The winner from Day 6 is Trisha Lyons and we all hope she gets good use from Nancy Zieman’s knit pattern. Trisha, send us your mailing address at an we’ll get this out to you!

Season 6 has all type of sewing project you’re going to love. Including home dec projects!

Be sure to watch for Ellen and Jessie as they make an adorable pillow in Deco-Stitched Decor.  I think this was one of my favorite projects.  You can learn how to print your own images to create a one-of-a-kind pillow. Be sure to watch for this episode as season 6 of Sew It All TV airs in September on many PBS stations through out the country.

  6. Deb says:

My favorite home decor projects are working on pillows. I’m always looking for new trims, ways to fasten, and new ideas to try. I’ve tried doing placemats but haven’t gotten that perfected yet! Another in progress project!

  7. pamela schofield says:

I really enjoy creating new looks for my tables. Table runners, table cloths, napkins, napkin rings and roll baskets! They make great hostess gifts and house warming presents as well!

  8. Savannagal says:

The only home dec project I’ve ever made was a liner for my magazine basket. The one that came with the basket fell apart. So I took it apart and tried to recreate a new one with what was left of the shredded pieces. Mine turned out “just okay” since it didn’t fit the basket perfectly and it was somewhat mis-shapen. But I am using it. I have a lot to learn about sewing.

  13. Lynne Woods says:

I love to quilt, so my house is filled with quilted wallhangings, pillows, and potholders. A friend gave me a “cutter quilt” that used to belong to her mom – so I made a wonderful table runner out of pieces of the quilt that I could still use. I gave it to my friend, because it was all originally hand quilted by her mom. Now I want to make another one for my table.
